We have spent the last week in gorgeous Barcelona at SAP Hybris LIVE Global Summit 2017 and to wrap this up in 3 words: That was exciting!
Around 3.000 customer engagement and commerce enthusiasts followed the call of the conference "Launch the Future of Your Business Today". The session catalog was packed with forward-thinking presentations by business and industry leaders who shared their insights, stories and expertise in five theaters, six micro-theaters, and dozens of demo stations. Experiences beyond the usual conference awaited the visitors in the "Galaxy of Data" - a virtual-reality experience that showcased the customer interactions of the future powered by real-time data and artifical intelligence.
One of our personal highlights was, of course, the opportunity to get up close with customers, partners and other visitors at our booth. We'd like to thank each and everyone who joined us in a conversation about the future of manufacturing and the role of our Configure Price Quote solution in digitalizing sales for these industries.

Clearly another peak for us was our customer Will Daniels from Satisloh GmbH presenting together with Markus Schoierer, our Sales Director EMEA in the Microtheater. Their talk titled "Digitalize Manufacturing Sales with Configure Price Quote (CPQ): a Customer Story" not only touched upon the challenges of the industry and the game-changing capabilities of our Cloud CPQ, but showcased the path to a successful digitalization of the sales process for Satisloh.
Markus Schoierer explained how we, at In Mind Cloud, clearly understand the challenges of "The Age Of The Customer" for sales in manufacturing industries. As a SaaS provider, we also recognize this era as "The Age Of The User", hence aim to remove the complexities of manufacturing businesses to turn them into actionable knowledge for the sales teams.
Will Daniels described how being in a digital economy with global competition makes it highly necessary to benefit from technology advancements. For Satisloh to stay competitive, each and every deal gains more and more importance in regards of future growth. Digitalizing their sales process did not only increase deal sizes by up to 100%, but helped to maximise the number of deals won. To be successful, it is essential for Satisloh to being able to configure, price and quote their machines accurately and profitably.
Driven by questions from the audience, Will Daniels shared his best advice for businesses considering or currently evaluation CPQ solutions: "When choosing a system, make sure that the CPQ application is built on a platform that is flexible and easy to work with to cater to future change and all the challenges it brings, when moving into industry 4.0."
