This release is all about elevating productivity throughout the platform in our latest round of enhancements and feature updates. We’ve added new, more effective ways to perform the usual tasks so that our users can make the most of their workdays while the business becomes more efficient in terms of sales.
eCommerce Sales Portal – Find pre-configured variants that match customer needs
Help customers navigate past a vast catalog to quickly find and buy what they need
Some manufacturers produce hundreds or even thousands of products, variants, parts, consumables, and solutions. The sheer number of products and combinations can be a self-serve obstacle for customers. Our new Product Finder feature helps customers cut through the clutter, and instantly find the products and solutions they need. It is an upgrade to our powerful Guided Selling feature and comprises simple but targeted questions that help guide customers to the exact products they need. To improve chances of conversion, your customers can even use the side-by-side comparison feature to fine-tune their selection. They can then choose to checkout immediately or send it to sales to initiate an inquiry.
eCommerce Sales Portal – Order/Inquiry confirmation email with PDF order summary

One of the biggest bottlenecks in manufacturing sales is the administrative process. In our previous 22/02 update, we changed that by offering users the ability to download and read order or inquiry summaries offline. In this 22/05 release, we took it one step further. Now, order or inquiry summaries in PDF format can be attached to order confirmation emails once orders have been placed successfully. Customers will be instantly notified when their orders or inquiries have gone through and have the convenience of downloading the document for administrative purposes.
CPQ - Quick-Add Quote Line Item with auto-suggest
Auto-suggest and quick-add lets users find, add and configure products faster
Seasoned sales reps often memorize key product names and IDs to streamline their individual processes. This helps them breeze through the product catalog to find what they need fast. With this new feature, a sales rep can simply key in the first three characters of a product name or ID, and the system will automatically suggest all related products. The sales rep then clicks on the correct product to instantly add it to the quote.
CPQ - Identify Pre-configured variant, and configure for exact requirements match
Sales reps can configure existing variants to speed up configuration time
We introduced the self-serve ability to customize variants on the eCommerce sales portal in our previous release. In this release, we extend this function to your internal sales reps. They can now pick the closest variant and fine-tune their selection to ensure an exact match or need unique requirements. Using existing variants as a starting point can help speed up configuration time by up to 90%. The partial configuration also ensures faster time-to-value because as much as 90% of the production can be done in advance.
CPQ - Show all configurable line items in the new configuration UI
Users can continue configuration work without returning to the line-item table view
Product configuration is a complex task. To make quoting easy for sales and partners, we are constantly adding new features to deliver an excellent experience. In this release, we added a simple but powerful function that lets users immediately see and start working on configurable items without navigating to the line-item table view. It allows users to continue with their configuration work without any interruptions.
CPQ – Quote copy to include manual entry details and zero-price items
Copied quotes now bring over manual updates like discounts from the original file
With In Mind Cloud CPQ, quotes can be quickly and accurately generated using system information. Sales reps can also manually update the quotes to reflect approved discounts, customer-specific prices, or free items to meet customer requirements. The improved quote copy function allows these manual updates to be carried over from the original quote to the copied quote. This feature helps eliminate manual re-work on quotes that deliver the best value for the next customer.
CPQ – Sunsetting of the old configuration user interface
The new configurator interface features enhancements that make it more intuitive
Here at In Mind Cloud, we constantly strive to make manufacturing sales as straightforward as possible. Almost a year ago, we introduced the new configurator UI. It features enhancements like reduced clicks in configuration and visualization cues designed to help our users work faster and navigate the system more intuitively. After this update, all users will be re-directed to the new configurator UI by default. If there is a need to switch back to the old UI, they can still do so. If your experience with the new configurator UI is unsatisfactory, please send your feedback via email (email@example.com), and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
CPQ – Unlock and restore work from the previous session
Users can unlock and continue working even if they encounter accidental exits
With In Mind Cloud, quote configuration takes just minutes. But there are times when sales reps must assemble highly sophisticated solutions for customers. Interruptions or accidental exits can cause their work to be lost and locked during these times—an unpleasant experience. Now users can unlock their last session and continue with time-sensitive work where they left off, even if they did not save their work due to browser crashes or accidental exits.
CRM – Outlook enhancement: Crop email, auto-sync, account sync
Unnecessary information can be cropped from inquiry emails and synced to CRM
Some inquiry email threads can turn into prolonged discussions. When that happens, critical sales-relevant information can be buried. We added a key feature to our Digital Sales Platform to prevent that from happening—the ability to crop emails. This feature helps sales reps keep only the most relevant information that adds value to the sales conversation. We have also added an email auto-sync and tag feature to the platform. It automatically syncs critical emails with the CRM function of the Digital Sales Platform to help keep all stakeholders updated on the outcome of recent discussions.
Digital Sales Platform – Cache management for master data
Updates to master data are now reflected immediately within the system
The In Mind Cloud Digital Sales Platform is a fully connected system that enables fast, real-time updates to data. To maximize this benefit, we improved how the system performs cache management. Master data like currency, country, and state, is now stored in the global cache instead of the user session. When updates have been made to the master data, the changes are now instantly reflected within the system. Users no longer need to re-login to see these changes on their end. This update makes working in the Digital Sales Platform faster and more efficient for our users—a powerful upgrade in the overall user experience.
